Head chef Mr. Miyata, who trained at a long-established, well-known sushi restaurant in Otaru before setting out on his own, serves traditional nigiri sushi that emphasizes the aging of seafood. He is reputed for his keen eye for local ingredients and careful preparation, and together with his wife has created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The place is known by word of mouth to repeat customers who travel from Sapporo and to visitors from abroad.
