KINSAIYA

This small counter-based eatery is run by a chef who has been making okonomiyaki for nearly 40 years after training in Hiroshima. The 'Kinsai-yaki' features a thin batter layered with plenty of cabbage and soba, accented with squid tempura, all cooked to perfection on a sizzling hot plate that delights the senses. Guests can enjoy the authentic flavors while watching the skilled cooking unfold right before their eyes, paired with Akaboshi sake or Japanese sake. Although it's a bit of a walk from the station, the restaurant also offers takeout, making it a beloved establishment for Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki in the local community.
