At sunset time, the atmosphere increases. I arrived too early, no, I came here to arrive early because I wanted to be here! This is a gallery café with lots of books! Before entering the cafe, I was surprised that this was a cafe. I was so surprised! It's like a bookstore? It's so much like a bookstore that you'll wonder if it's a bookstore! I was hesitant to enter the store, but the store owner opened the door for me. The shopkeeper opened the door and said to me, "Come in! With this one word, it became easier to enter the store. I was planning to have only a drink on the menu because I was going to have dinner later. But the French toast looked so good that I ordered it! Half size French toast set 600 yen (coffee or tea) Looking around the store, there are books everywhere! Is it OK to read while having a café? There is a gallery in the back of the store, and a few people came to visit on this day. Now, here comes the French toast! It is soaked in butter as it says "slow baked" on the label! The butter is fermented butter, so it's not sticky and doesn't have a bad aftertaste! It's really fluffy and I ate it in no time! I could have had it in the regular size...lol When the sun goes down, the store is nicely lit by candlelight. It gets comfortable from there. Uncles knitting, people looking for books, people browsing in the gallery. It's a good time for each to spend individual time The store staff will serve you hot tea without disturbing you. This is also a very casual and kind gesture that makes me feel warm and fuzzy. It is true that you may feel uncomfortable because people often move around looking at books and other things! But I didn't mind so much when I was in my own world. Maybe this is the kind of place you want to come when you want to have some time to yourself.
