Osaka Nihonbashi Near Dotonbori, this long-established oden restaurant has been in business for a whopping 180 years. The fifth generation owner's comment was also well on the menu. A la carte Famous Tako (octopus) candied in sweetened soy sauce. Mozuku (seaweed) Cabbage rolls Threaded kelp Eggs Yuba Chrysanthemum greens I lost all the chrysanthemum greens in the restaurant as a result of too much deliciousness and too many second helpings. Healthy and crunchy is the best. Daikon radish Potatoes Shiitake mushrooms Scallops Shumai A hit. Juicy and very tasty. Taro Oysters Negima Mozzarella cheese I had a second helping of the cheese in the drawstring! Wakame seaweed ◇ Rice with soup and tofu toppings We were finally seated after 30 minutes of waiting during Sunday night dinner time. The restaurant may not open that early. I thought the taste of Kansai-style oden would be weak, but the soup stock was just right and drinkable. I really enjoyed the oden, which is my favorite kind of oden.

Kanto-ni-ni at a long-established restaurant has a good soup stock! After visiting the first restaurant, I thought, "Shall we have something warm to eat? After visiting the first restaurant, we headed for Namba from Daikoku-cho. It was so cold at night that I felt like freezing! I couldn't go home, I wanted to get warm! Then, Takobume-san brought us to the restaurant! This is a very long-established restaurant, established in 1844! The old house is not suited to this location, and you can clearly feel the atmosphere of a long-established restaurant! The word "Tako-ume" on the curtain is not a misnomer, but a misreading of the word. I had passed by the store many times before, so I was curious about it. The location is about a 5-minute walk northwest from Nihonbashi Station. When I opened the sliding door, I was suddenly seated at the counter. There are also tables in the back. Of course we went to the counter! Because the oden was boiling right in front of us! Did you know that? In the old days, oden was called "Kanto ni-ni" (oden stew). We don't have that many kinds of drinks! I have little choice, so I ordered a cider! After all, I want to order something that will make me shrivel up! It's my second one, so I order a quick one! First, hijiki was served as a side dish! The crunchy texture of the hijiki is very nice, and I'm glad it's handmade! Oden is Daikon radish I can't get enough of the flavor soaked into the daikon! I don't get this much at home. When you put it in your mouth, the broth spreads out and heals you! It's the iron plate of oden! Potatoes Beautifully boiled without falling apart! They are so soft and moist! You can eat such a big potato in its entirety It's because it's a restaurant! Octopus The octopus is very resilient, and the octopus flavor is a little weak. Yaki-sai The sauce is thickened and the soup stock is absorbed. When you put it in your mouth, it's like "ats"! When you put it in your mouth, it's like "ATSU! Taste is so-so, just normal. Vegetable tempura This is also soaked in soup stock and delicious! The finely chopped vegetables are kneaded into the batter, giving it a variety of flavors. Oden is a must for fish paste. Even though it was only half for two people, we ate a lot! After all, the soup stock is delicious! The most delicious soup stock extracted from various ingredients! I bet you can't get enough of it after drinking sake! If you're going to eat ramen for shime, this is definitely the way to go! It soaked into my cold body and warmed me up! Oden is my favorite food! My first visit to Takobai, which is said to be the oldest oden restaurant in Japan. The exterior of the restaurant is a Japanese-style house with a very nice atmosphere, and once inside, there is a U-shaped counter with a very nice aroma inside. In the center of the restaurant, there was a pot of their specialty, Kanto nabe, which they prepare in the kitchen. The sweet octopus stew had a bitter taste with a sweetness that made it an addictive dish. It was very tasty.

The "sazagiri", "koro", and "tako no noroi" (octopus stewed in sweetened soy sauce) are unique to this restaurant, and are somewhat expensive. Oden in general is moderately tasty. The chrysanthemum greens and yuba are my favorite.
