We visited Honkurukuru, an Okinawan restaurant located in the basement of Sannomiya Center Plaza. The restaurant is located on the first basement floor and has both counter and table seating. The lunch menu includes Soki soba, Ryukyu soba and rafte rice bowl, Okinawa soba and rafte rice bowl, Ryukyu soba and taco rice, and taco rice. I ordered the Ryukyu soba and taco rice set. The Okinawan soba noodles were made from delicious Chinese noodles from Kobe, and the ingredients were typical of Okinawa. The taco rice was made with taco meat, cabbage, shredded cheese, and fries, and the fries were especially crispy and delicious. This is a rare restaurant where you can feel the Okinawan flavor.
