My goal was to try Toraya's limited menu, but reservations were so full that I could only get a reservation at the beginning of November and the limited menu was no longer available. Nevertheless, the standard afternoon tea menu was very tasty and satisfying enough. The portions were larger than I had expected, and if you do not go in with an empty stomach, you will be full by the middle of the meal. I was not completely hungry that day, so I had to force myself to eat a little during the course of the meal. Still, each item on the menu was very tasty, and I am not exaggerating when I say that the pralines, my favorite, were the best I have ever tasted. I have not had that many different kinds of tea, but the rose tea, the spice-scented tea, and others were all delicious and went very well with the sweets. If I have the opportunity to use this service again, I will come back with an empty stomach.
