A visit to a restaurant that refused to be interviewed I visited this restaurant, which was introduced by Michelin's Bib Gourmand, with a colleague on a business trip to Akihabara. The set included a special loin and rice (1,850 yen + 450 yen). The meat is a little thicker than usual, but overall it is small. The meat is elastic and juicy, and the thin batter makes it very easy to eat. It was a perfect match with the rock salt on the table.

When I arrived at the restaurant at 11:00 on a national holiday, there were already about 10 people in line! I started lining up right away, and by the time the restaurant opened, there were almost 40 people in line! The popularity of the restaurant is frightening! I was able to enter the restaurant within 10 minutes after it opened! Since I came all the way from Kansai, I ordered the special filet cutlet, rice set, and meat set (*^^*). After a couple of minutes of waiting, I got the meat yose! I heard it is best to eat it with spicy sauce! Take a bite and you can taste the flavor of the meat! It seems to go well with sake! I quickly finished it and waited for the main dish, the special filet cutlet. The restaurant is rather quiet, which is fine if you are here alone, but there were also people with two or more people spending time quietly. On the other hand, I can't stand the crunching sound of the batter as the chef cuts the pork cutlets! It's a very good sound. After 7-8 minutes of waiting, the filet arrived! You can feel the crispiness of the batter from its appearance! When you try it.... The flavor of the meat spreads in your mouth and the texture is soft and fluffy! This is so good! It's worth waiting in line for! I guess 3,000 yen for a pork cutlet lunch is a price that differs depending on your point of view, but I think it's worth it at least once. Thank you very much!

Tokyo Gourmet x Akihabara Lunch This tonkatsu restaurant is located about 5 minutes west of Akihabara in the direction of Ochanomizu. It is so famous that there is no one who loves tonkatsu who does not know about it! It has been ranked in the top 10 in the nation's tonkatsu ranking in TA-LOG and has been ranked among the 100 best tonkatsu restaurants in Japan for three consecutive years since 2017. It has also been listed in the Michelin Guide. After waiting in line for about 10 minutes, we entered the restaurant! Here is what I ordered! Special Roast Katsu (¥1950) ◆Special loin cutlet (¥1950) Add rice, red miso soup and pickles (¥450). I usually have filet, but today's cutlet was a fatty loin cutlet! After 20 minutes of waiting... A thick, golden brown cutlet was presented to us. The cross section is so beautiful that you can't help but drool over it. A quick sprinkle of salt and a bite into the cutlet, and you can feel the crispiness of the batter and at the same time, the juices fill your mouth. The taste will naturally bring a big smile to your face when you eat it alone. ☺️ ・ This is good, too good. This is good, too good. I seriously recommend it! I've had it for a few years now. Of the places I've eaten so far, the similarities are tonkatsu mange in Osaka and ripe pork in Kyoto, I think. A long-established tonkatsu restaurant established in 1967. We arrived at 1:30 p.m. and 10 minutes later there was already a sign that the restaurant was closed. ‼️ Maybe our timing was good, we didn't have to wait that long and our food was served around 2:00 p.m.â : : :. 🍀Special loin cutlet + set menu (💴1850+450) Thick and juicy loin appeared after being fried in oil at 130-140℃ for about 15 minutes✨. The batter covering it is The batter covering it is thinner than usual and makes a light crispy sound. You will be happy to feel the juices soaking into the batter and melting in your mouth 🌸. The fatty taste is not strong enough to stimulate me, so it was easy for me to eat. Sprinkled with rock salt The salt was absorbed into the batter and fat, further increasing the flavor ✨.
