Tenmo" is one of the restaurants in my lunch rotation in the Akasaka neighborhood, a long-established queue for tempura that I have been going to for about 15 years. The fluffy kakiage donburi (tempura bowl) filled with plump prawns and kobashira (small pillars of rice) is a specialty. The thick, not sweet, sauce is delicious. Aka-dashi soup is an extra charge, but it is a must order. This popular restaurant is full by 11:30am. If you are in the neighborhood early, you should definitely give this restaurant a try.
