The atmosphere is calm and reminiscent of a long-established restaurant, and the hinoki wood counter is very pleasant. There is a rich variety of seasonal dishes, allowing you to enjoy a wide range from fugu and matsuba crab to sashimi. In particular, the rich clam dobin mushi had the essence of the shellfish seeping into the broth, which brought a smile to my face. The fragrant grilled eel and fluffy lotus root dumplings also reflected careful preparation, leaving me satisfied. The sushi had fresh toppings and smaller rice portions, making it easy to sample various types. The selection of sake, from chilled to cloudy, was enjoyable, and choosing combinations with the dishes was fun.
