Near the station, you can immediately feel the warm atmosphere created by the family running the place. The small interior, centered around the counter, allows for a relaxed experience. All the ingredients are fresh, and the rice is small and easy to eat. The flavors were satisfying, from tuna and white fish to sea urchin, salmon roe, sweet shrimp, egg, and rolls. The monkfish liver was rich and flavorful, pairing well with the ponzu sauce. You can sense the long-standing tradition, and the service is kind, making for a pleasant visit.
