When I entered the old traditional house, it was a wonderfully charming space. The service staff were very friendly, and both my parents were delighted, saying they wanted to come back again while enjoying the meal and the atmosphere. The food was truly delicious, with just the right amount, and I was also pleased with the dessert, kuzukiri. We had our meal in a private room, and the view from the window was very nice. Thank you very much.
The view from Mount Utatsu overlooking Kanazawa Castle is wonderful, and I enjoyed a lunch kaiseki served in traditional dishes with a balanced selection of Kanazawa specialties that evoke a sense of history. After the meal, I was able to enjoy dessert along with matcha and coffee for 3300 yen. I was welcomed in a kimono, and the gentle Kanazawa dialect made for a very satisfying experience. Thank you for the meal.
Four women from three generations used the service. We arrived earlier than our reservation, but they responded immediately, and the considerate service was very pleasant. The seasonal dishes were, of course, delicious, and the tableware and the view from the window were very elegant, allowing us to spend a wonderful time, making it a great memory of our trip to Kanazawa. Thank you very much.
I was a bit nervous since I was alone, but I was kindly greeted and was able to enjoy my meal in a private room without any reservations, which allowed me to have a great time. The dishes also reflected the season and the local area, and they were very delicious. I was given good directions and information for my next sightseeing, and I’m really glad I went. Thank you very much.
A friend of mine found this restaurant for our first lunch in Kanazawa from Kyoto, and we were very pleased with the very nice view, service, and very satisfying food. It was a memorable lunch at a cute ryotei restaurant with an atmosphere like something out of an old Japanese movie. I heard they also have a cafe, but I would like to visit again for lunch. We also enjoyed our first taste of Kaga lotus root, which we were able to purchase at a supermarket on the way home and take home with us, thanks to your explanation that it is a specialty of the area. I don't recommend taking a carry-on case because of the slightly hilly terrain, but a car is no problem.
Close to Kenrokuen, it is a beautiful Japanese-style building with a lovely garden, where I had a Kaga Kaiseki lunch. The service was wonderful, and it was very delicious. There were also some foreigners, but the six adults were very satisfied.
The saltiness of the broth was just right and I enjoyed the quality of the ingredients. Freshness of seafood is a matter of course, but the skill of the chef in processing the seafood makes a big difference. The waitress was also very attentive, and we were able to end the previous day's bad impression of Kanazawa's food in a good way. This is a memorable restaurant that I would like to use again, even with a reservation.
The staff was nice, but the room was not clean.
There were mites and stink bugs in the room.
I lost my appetite at once.
I wonder if the restaurant staff didn't notice.
