carefully selected Japanese food Japanese Cuisine Fukumi 3 minutes walk from Shin-Fukushima Station A Japanese restaurant more casual and elegant than a kappo restaurant. There is a course, but there are many dishes on the menu. We ordered a la carte this time ^_^. Jidori-chicken seseri grilled with soy sauce and a dash of spice Kama-age shirasu shirasu no kakiage Eel and burdock root with egg and "Eel and new burdock with egg". The dishes that convey the owner's creativity and ingenuity are all carefully prepared and boast a gentle flavor. All of them are carefully prepared and boast a gentle flavor. I entered the restaurant on a whim without any word of mouth. I was quite satisfied 😁😁. A restaurant where you can enjoy polite Japanese food in an elegant space at a reasonable price - "Japanese Cuisine Fukumi" - | FTimeshi.com A restaurant where you can enjoy fine Japanese cuisine in an elegant space at a reasonable price - "WASHOKU FUKUMI Fukumi is a restaurant where you can enjoy carefully prepared Japanese cuisine a la carte. The restaurant offers dishes that make the most of the flavors of the season's ingredients. In the Fukushima area of Osaka, where many delicious restaurants line the streets, there are few Japanese restaurants that seem to exist. We are pleased to present to you the charm of this restaurant. Store Information Japanese Restaurant Fukumi 3 minutes walk from Shin-Fukushima Station Budget:¥4,000~¥6,000 Vacation:Sunday. Business hours: 18:00 - 24:00. Appearance Shin-Fukushima Station, south of Route 2. The elegant, simple, modern door is a landmark. Interior There are 5 seats at the counter and 2 tables. The wooden seats create a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant has an image of being "a little more casual than kappo," so it can be a good place to come alone or on a date. It can also be used for a date. A semi-private room for up to 12 people is also available at the back of the restaurant. Partitions can be used to divide the room, making it ideal for special occasions such as business entertainment and dinners. In addition, the space between seats is generally wide and spacious. Dishes Yam somen noodles (appetizer) From the appetizer, I was impressed by how elaborately the dish was prepared. I have had somen noodles with yam on top, but this was my first experience with a menu that treats yam as "noodles. The attention to detail and attention to detail naturally raised my spirits. Sake-tamagoyaki and cheese with walnuts ¥520 The sweet richness of the cheese and the saltiness of the sakadori are a perfect match, and the crunchy texture of the walnuts adds to it. This twist is a delight. This is a speedy menu item that sake lovers will love. Fresh Oyster Ponzu ¥800 Mildness and sourness mesh strangely. The oysters are so fresh that you can almost inhale them! The freshness of the oysters can be felt as if you were sucking them into your mouth. Yam french fries ¥620 Unlike the name suggests, these are thick yams with the skin still on. They are covered with curry powder, giving them a spicy flavor. The crunchy and tangy taste makes one want a glass of sake. Jidori Chicken Sasami with Umeshiso Cheese Tempura ¥720 At some yakitori restaurants, you can sometimes eat chicken breast dipped in plum sauce, but this one has a plum flavor, but the cheese in the middle gives it a completely different taste. It is deep-fried but light. It is a new taste sensation. Jidori chicken seseri grilled in soy sauce with a dash of spice ¥800 The fat from the seseri and the spiciness of the flavor of the isami (seasoning) are perfectly intertwined in this dish. The more you bite into the meat, the more flavor comes out. The soy sauce soaks into the meat and gives it a rich flavor. Kama-age shirasu kakiage ¥800 The crunchy texture is followed by the moist and delicious taste of shirasu (baby sardines). The potherb mustard (probably) is fried just right so that it does not burn, and you can bite through it comfortably in one bite. Eel and burdock with egg ¥900 The eel and fresh burdock root trapped in the soft egg has a deep flavor. Earthen pot rice with fresh salmon roe and grilled salmon ¥1,800 When you open the earthenware pot, steam comes out in a puff of air. The deep flavor of the dashi broth is very filling. Salmon, salmon roe, green onion, and rice. The proportions are probably the best, as they do not interfere with each other, but rather showcase their individual tastes. Other dishes, Sea bream and mushrooms on rice in an earthenware pot Chicken and burdock root in earthenware pot with rice "Kabayaki Eel with Clay Pot Rice" and "Kabayaki Eel with Clay Pot Rice. and "Eel and rice cooked in clay pot with broiled eel. One of them is a must-order. They all looked delicious in the pictures. There were so many items on the menu that it was impossible to order everything in one visit. There is also a wide variety of sake, including sake and shochu. You can choose the brand that goes well with each dish. Budget approx. 9,800 yen (per 2 persons) This price is for 2 glasses of beer and 2 glasses of shochu each. I had an image that elegant Japanese restaurants in Osaka are expensive, but this one was easy on the wallet. There is also an all-you-can-drink plan on the course menu starting at 4,000 yen, so you can enjoy your meal at a reasonable price. Ingredients A wide variety of seasonal ingredients are available. When I visited, there was a wide selection of dishes using "fresh burdocks. It is a burdock that is harvested when it is not fully grown, and is characterized by its elegant and gentle aroma. Because it is softer than regular burdocks, it is said to be easier to cook with other ingredients. They generously offer the most delicious ingredients at that time of the year. There is no limit to genres: meat, fish, vegetables, rice.... It is an exciting restaurant where the enjoyment changes with the seasons. Impression I felt that this is a restaurant where you can "enjoy choosing. There are many dishes that one cannot imagine the taste of just from the name, such as "Awa Odori no Tebutsukune (fried chicken wings)" and "Deep-fried Satoimo Manju (steamed buns). Such dishes are always added with ingenuity and give you a pleasure one step ahead of what you expect. Perhaps it is the personality of the waitstaff, but both the cooking and customer service at Fukumi are courteous and make you feel warm and fuzzy. Please visit us once ^_^. ↓Click here for the blog version. https://kitameshi.com/kitameshi/wasyokufukumi/
