Mamemono & Taiyaki Arashiyama offers three types of taiyaki: traditional tsubuan (sweet bean paste), an-butter, and royal custard. The An Butter Taiyaki, their most popular item, is made with fresh, milky-tasting Hokkaido Hidaka butter. The soft and light dough is made from the highest quality thin flour, "Tokuho-kasa," and combined with Imamura's specialty tsubu-an (sweet bean paste), the dough is concentrated with a delicious flavor.

The Mamemono and Taiyaki Arashiyama store is a concept that blends Kyoto tradition and innovation in a space that exudes a sense of novelty with a relaxed Japanese atmosphere. Mamemono to Taiyaki" Arashiyama branch will open in September 2020 as a collaboration between Ishida Ro-po, established in 1871, and Toya Co., Ltd. which is involved in cafe production in Kyoto. With the goal of creating a new Kyoto specialty, local ingredients are carefully selected and used. The store symbolizes a fusion of long-standing baked confectionery manufacturing techniques and new café culture.
