The owner-chef is a one-man chef, offering gently flavored French cuisine that makes the most of seasonal ingredients. Both lunch and dinner are limited to one couple only, and reservations are required. The menu is tailored to the customer's needs, making it ideal for a special occasion.

The restaurant is a house like a hideaway, where you can relax and spend time in a peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant's appearance, which seems to blend in with the peaceful mountain scenery, is as if it has emerged from the world of fairy tales. A wreath decorating the olive-colored door gently welcomes visitors. Once you step inside, you will find yourself in a stylish European-style dining room with the impressive warmth of a wood-burning stove.

This restaurant opened in December 2015 and is completely by reservation only. The name of the restaurant, "Une Fleur," means "flower" in French. The chef's gentle French cuisine, which he hopes guests can experience the seasons in a relaxing space, is popular, making it difficult to make reservations.

After graduating from the prestigious Lyon Tsuji Culinary Institute of French Cuisine, Chef de Cuisine Maurice Bourgeois studied at Hiramatsu, one of the most prestigious Grandmaisons in Japan. He has experience at Hiramatsu in Tokyo and Paris, and has also served as head chef at the famous restaurants "Carved Paul Bocuse" and "Carved Hiramatsu".
