Also, the shrimp kakiage was thinly sliced, light and crispy, and delicious. The way the saury was grilled and arranged was also ingenious. The steamed lotus root was a taste of autumn. The proprietress's hospitality was excellent, and she provided an enjoyable meal with a smile. The food was served in simple and lovely dishes, and the value for money was especially good.
Beer & Pasta Scherzo is a specialty restaurant where you can freely combine 19 types of pasta sauces with 6 types of fresh pasta noodles. Known for its pleasant service and cuisine, the chewy texture of the fresh pasta is particularly well-regarded. I happened to stop by when it was on Kitayama Street and became a big fan, and although I wanted to visit again, several years have passed. On my long-awaited return, I was surprised to find kakigori (shaved ice)! It was truly, truly delicious and I was so impressed! The cheese and strawberry sauce was refreshing, and I kept going with the spoon without getting a brain freeze, and chunks of cheesecake came out from inside, which made me very satisfied. The warm tea that came with it was also a lovely touch! I was very satisfied with the kakigori, but I couldn't resist and ended up eating the cheesecake too!
