Charcoal BBQ Marukyu is a yakiniku restaurant directly operated by a Kyoto-based grocer. Here, the butcher offers the best meat and the grocer offers the best vegetables. A wide variety of dressings and fresh vegetable dishes made from vegetables grown in-house or from contract farmers are available, perfect for those with a big appetite. The beef tataki and cold noodles are especially recommended. The beef tataki is tender and juicy, and the cold noodles are crispy and cold with plump egg noodles.
