A renowned restaurant for traditional Funori soba
Kojimaya Sohonten is known as the birthplace of Funori soba and has been preserving its traditional flavors for 95 years since 1922. The soba, made from stone-milled flour and featuring a unique texture using seaweed as a binding agent, attracts many fans not only from the local area but also from afar. The interior, adorned with one of the largest waterwheels in the prefecture and a historical tapestry of Hegi soba, draws visitors into a nostalgic atmosphere. The artistic decor, with attention to detail, leaves a lasting impression on all who visit.
