The oil soba is refreshing with purple onion, mizuna, and lemon, and can be made spicy for added fun. The homemade kimchi and sauces are fragrant, and the salad is satisfying. There are tatami rooms and a kids' space, making it a relaxing place for families with children. The walls are lined with signatures of celebrities, and the staff is friendly, creating a happy atmosphere throughout the meal.

Gyutatsu is conveniently located just a minute's walk from Tokiwadai Station, offering a serene interior with a wooden design where you can savor exquisite wagyu dishes. The warm, modern Japanese decor provides a special experience for its guests. The luxurious dishes made with carefully selected A5 grade domestic wagyu are not only visually stunning but also incredibly appetizing.
The 4-oyster sampler was sensational, with a good mix of flavours. The garlic-cheese and fried Hiroshimas were unbelievably tasty. I also had a few beers which went down very nicely with the oysters.
The staff, which I assume are the owners, were ultra-friendly and very helpful to me with my minimal Japanese language skills. I will be eating here two more times before I leave.
This is quite probably the best oyster bar I have been to, anywhere in the world, and I have been to many in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Europe and the United States.

In the homey atmosphere of the restaurant, you can savor your meal while receiving heartfelt service.
It is located just outside the station, and the moment I entered the lively interior, I felt excited. The space has a calm atmosphere based on wood, but the cheerful voices of the staff are lively, making it very comfortable. The skewers, grilled to perfection, have both the sauce and salt that are exquisite, and even the tender liver and heart were easy to eat. The offal hot pot, rich with garlic, had a deep-flavored broth filled with plump offal, and I was able to enjoy plenty of vegetables as well. The fluffy rolled omelet with melting cheese inside was particularly impressive and made me smile. With a wide variety of drinks and a hearty course, the conversation flowed, and I lost track of time while staying longer than planned.
