Nato a Osaka nel diciottesimo anno dell'era Meiji, 'Nishitamamizu' è un ristorante storico che segna oltre centotrenta anni come il primo in Giappone specializzato in piatti a base di balena. A nice and warm restaurant. The chef/owner served us alone, and all the dishes were prepared and served at good timing. Of course, they were delicious too. The food was presented in different styles and techniques, which were quite impressing. It was nice experience.

When I searched for 'Harihari Nabe' online, I found many hits for 'Harishabu', but I wanted to eat the traditional 'Harihari Nabe', so I ended up at Nishitamamizu. I requested a course this time. All the dishes were very delicious, and I was extremely satisfied. The quality of the ingredients was, of course, excellent, but the careful preparation meant that there was no unique odor typical of whale, resulting in a deeply flavorful dish.
