A relaxing restaurant with stunning views and delicious miso katsu

Restaurant Alps is a spacious establishment located at the mid-station of the Shin-Hotaka Ropeway. Here, dishes made with Hida beef and the crispy miso katsu are highly praised. You can enjoy exquisite cuisine to your heart's content while taking in the beautiful scenery from the windows.

Located at the Shirakaba-daira Station of the Shin-Hotaka Ropeway, the view outside the window is pleasant. The interior is bright and spacious. The combination of Hida beef grilled on a magnolia leaf and miso is the best, making it hard to stop eating the rice. The miso katsu don has a crispy coating, and the light miso sauce offers a fresh taste. The beef curry is mild and easy to eat, and the accompanying salad is a nice touch. Takayama ramen features a light chicken broth soy sauce with thin curly noodles, and the toppings of mountain vegetables and chashu pair well.
