Sankoen is a long-established yakiniku restaurant in Azabu Juban. The lunch yakiniku bowl comes with fluffy egg soup, bean sprout namul, and kimchi for ￥1,000. It is a lunch dish worth trying at least once. The yakiniku donburi is a bowl of beef ribs stewed in a thick, sweet and spicy seasoning that goes perfectly with the rice, and the portion is huge. A large portion is available for ³,000, but even men find it difficult to finish it. The restaurant is popular for its long-established calmness and consistent quality, and because the fatty parts are served in thin slices, it attracts many female and elderly customers. The restaurant's elderly female staff members are like gentle mothers who are always attentive to their customers. It is a very comfortable restaurant.
