The dishes made with soft-shelled turtle and koji were all meticulously prepared, and I was excited from the very first bite. You can enjoy a smooth flow of flavors with ponzu dressing, hot pot, spring rolls, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and zosui (rice soup). The three kinds of delicacies were interesting as you could tell the differences in parts, and they had no unpleasant smell, making them easy to eat. There was a rich variety of snacks using koji, and I particularly liked the octopus marinated in salt koji and the pork loin pickled in koji. Even the appetizers were delicious, and I couldn't stop eating the dashimaki (rolled omelet) and soy sauce pickled eggs. The staff were very kind, and I appreciated their consideration in adjusting the course content and making it easy to order even for one person.

This is a restaurant where you can properly savor soft-shelled turtle. The dishes, such as those served with ponzu sauce and fried turtle, have a very gentle flavor without any unpleasant smell. The broth for the hot pot is rich, and you can enjoy it all the way to the delicious final rice porridge. Dishes like chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), spring rolls, a platter of delicacies, and soft-shelled turtle rolled omelet are all carefully prepared and never get boring. The small dishes, such as nanohana (rapeseed) ohitashi and green beans with sesame, have a good texture and pair well with alcohol. The atmosphere is nice, and I appreciate that I can relax even when I'm alone.
