Entering this quiet Japanese space that feels like it’s not in a building brings a sense of calm. I was captivated by the artisan's delicate knife skills visible over the counter, and the beauty of each dish was mesmerizing. The soup with a rich dashi flavor and the sashimi made with plump seafood evoke the scents of the season, which is delightful. The grilled dishes and the assorted appetizers are garnished with cherry leaves and wild vegetables, adding a modern twist to traditional techniques, which is enjoyable. The rice cooked in a clay pot has a gentle seasoning, and I finished it feeling happy until the very last bite. The desserts are also carefully crafted, making it a wonderful place to slowly savor the lingering flavors in a quiet private room.
