This course is available only in November and December. Matsuba crabs are landed in Kyotango, Tsuiyama, Shibayama, Tottori, and Hamasaka, and the best ones of the day are prepared as live crabs. If you are allergic to or do not like crabs, please let us know and we will change the menu to Japanese beef. (All cooking utensils and soup stock will be served separately.) This course is available only in November and December. Taiza crab is a brand of Matsuba crab landed at Mabito Port in Tango Town, Kyotango City. Because it is caught only by five small boats that make a day trip, it has superior freshness compared to snow crabs landed at other fishing ports, and because it is rare and difficult to obtain, it is called "fantastic crab. Due to the special growing environment of this muddy area inhabited by high-quality plankton and the thorough resource management by Kyoto Prefecture, the crab is larger and firmer than those caught in other regions, making it one of the highest quality brands of Matsuba crab landed in Japan.
