This beautiful Cab Franc dominant blend from Cadence sings with both red and dark fruits. The merlot in the blend brings forth structure, a touch of dustiness and depth. The palate is touched with chocolate, red raspberries, and red currant.
This decadent offerings from this amazing winemaker, Matt Reynvaan, is show stopper. With plum notes, peppercorn, and leather. The aromas practically jump from the glass and consistent dark crushed berry flavors are followed by a hint of black pepper.
They only produced 104 cases of this wine. Like a Valentine's Day romance; this dark sensual wine has notes of floral (roses and violets) on the nose and a follow up taste of dark chocolate and spice. This big, bold wine settles down sip after sip and delights to the end.
