Hakata Hotaru" is my favorite place to taste Hakata. It is flown in daily from the Hakata Nagahama Market. I know of no other restaurant in Tokyo where you can taste this class of sesame mackerel. This time, the turban shell sashimi with liver (880 yen) and the whole nodoguro (a whole nodoguro) grilled with salt (1980 yen) were great value for money and delicious. Raw squid sashimi, cod roe, motsu nabe (motsu hot pot), horse sashimi, and other Kyushu delicacies are all available. The sashimi comes with sea urchin. You can choose tempura or grilled squid with salt. The bright dining room, counter, tables, and private rooms can be used for a variety of purposes. Although there are many seats, the restaurant is full of reservations every day because of the delicious food, inexpensive prices, and excellent service. The course includes sashimi, an a la carte dish, motsu nabe (motsu hot pot), a finale, and dessert, with all-you-can-drink included, from ¥5,500. A la carte courses are also available for about ￥6,000 per person, even if you drink a lot and eat a lot, unless you order expensive wines. The restaurant offers a wide variety of drinks at reasonable prices, from champagne, wine, and shochu to popular brands of sake such as Nabeshima and Toyo Bijin. We recommend this restaurant for a lively drink with your close friends.

Hakata Hotaru" is a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious motsu-nabe and Hakata cuisine until late at night. The bright interior, pleasant service, and delicious fresh fish will cheer you up after working late. Mentaiko (cod roe)! Quite delicious. The motsu nabe is made by the waiter so that the motsu does not get overcooked and hard. I like the salty taste. Finish with chanpon. Although it is a large box, the restaurant is always full and crowded, but there are four private rooms and the tables are widely spaced so you don't have to worry about your surroundings. I feel like going to this restaurant late at night, even though I think I will get fat from eating motsu nabe (hotpot).

The fresh fish sashimi is the first thing you should order, beautifully arranged and fresh. The menu offers a variety of dishes that are sure to please Hakata cuisine lovers. Sesame mackerel, vinegared motsu, grilled pig's feet, cod roe, and motsu nabe. Soft udon noodles from Hakata are also available. The daily specials include sushi, side dishes, and a free refill of grated daikon with a crunchy texture. All-you-can-drink motsu nabe courses start at ¥5,000. Open until late at night, this restaurant is easy to use.

Azabu Juban [Hakata Hotaru We went to "Hakata Hotaru" located a short distance from Juban station. It is a restaurant where you can taste delicious Hakata cuisine such as motsu nabe and fresh fish. The exterior of the restaurant has a stylish look that makes it a bit difficult to enter, but the staff are all friendly. The prices are much more reasonable than I expected. We ordered the course, which included both the motsu nabe and the tsukune, which I forgot to take a picture of. I was impressed by the fresh ingredients and the way they are designed to be visually pleasing to the eye. And they are all delicious! We were full by the time we got to the final dish of motsu nabe, but we made it all the way to the end. I don't want this restaurant to become too famous because it will be hard to get reservations, but it was perfect for both small parties and dates. Thanks for the food 😋.

The Hakata cuisine restaurant that won the Izakaya Koshien championship is now in Tokyo for the first time. Delicious sashimi and motsu nabe (motsu hot pot), inexpensive, clean, and amazing service. Everything you could ask for makes this a popular restaurant where reservations are hard to come by. We used the private room for a get-together with business partners among various customers such as a party, a group of uncles, a women's party, etc. We ate a la carte and paid 6,000 yen per person. It is a heavy favorite restaurant.
