The atmosphere is traditional, and the tablecloth has a nice touch that brings a sense of calm. The borscht is hearty with plenty of meat and vegetables, simmered to a gentle flavor. The cabbage salad has pickles as an accent, making it refreshing. The pirozhki are generously filled, and they taste even better when paired with mustard. The lamb steak is tender, with a good cheese flavor, and it pairs well with the onion-rich omelet. Finishing with rose jam tea provides a satisfying meal.
