It was a well-known and wonderful bar that ranked 25th in ASIA'S 50 BEST BARS 2025. Being a ryokan, it had a Japanese style but did not have the stiff atmosphere of an authentic bar; instead, it had a vibe similar to lively bars overseas. I think it's rare to choose from a menu with over ten different options, and that's why you can enjoy a deep drink filled with skill. The layered flavors are complex, and the way people perceive them varies, making it a unique cocktail bar. If I had to say something negative, it would be that the location isn't particularly good, but I still believe it's worth visiting.

All the dishes (course) were delicious, and after the course ended, I enjoyed sushi a la carte. Not only the owner but also the staff in the hall were bright and polite in their service, and the atmosphere with the hospitality and background music was calm, allowing me to spend my first visit without feeling nervous. However, like in many places, I thought that if the lighting were slightly dimmed, the atmosphere would have become more solemn and even more relaxing. I look forward to visiting again.

Flowers are decorated at the entrance, and the seasonal arrangement of the stairs is beautiful. Inside, it is quiet, and both the counter and private rooms are easy to use. The tatami private room has table seating, which is convenient, and the small dish with a chrysanthemum floating in the chopstick rest is a lovely touch. The staff's service is gentle, and you can feel the care put into the dishes. Each item, made with seasonal ingredients, is delicious, and the white miso with persimmon served in a dish and the maple-shaped wheat gluten are visually delightful. You can enjoy a well-balanced meal all the way to the finishing yuzu udon, leaving you feeling completely satisfied after the meal.
