A morning with plenty of vegetables!　　Today is a weekday, so I decided to take a break from work and do some things I haven't been able to do in a while. Since I had to go somewhere to have a leisurely breakfast, I did some research the day before and visited Pancalato Boulangerie Cafe, located about a 3-minute walk north of Kitahama Station! It is a joint venture between Chef Karawatari of Lumière and Mr. Abe of Parigo! Why did they choose this place? A plate full of vegetables often seen at Lumière's restaurants! I want to eat this in abundance! Breads are displayed as soon as you enter the restaurant! Take-out people can buy here! A café is also attached to the store, so you can eat in as well! Counter seats in the back, tables and counter seats on the left The restaurant is small and cramped, so it is not suitable for a large group of people. Many customers seem to be alone. I'm alone too... Morning service is from 8:00 to 11:00. The menu can be ordered from 11:00, but the prices are lower during morning hours, so it would be good to use it for an early lunch! We visited at about 10:30 on a weekday, and the restaurant was almost full! Morning breakfast with vegetables directly from the farm: 1 piece of bread 693 yen, 2 pieces of bread 891 yen, sandwich 990 yen. You can choose your bread, or if you leave it to the store, they will recommend the vegetable bread! Just in case I wanted to take a look, I chose from the showcase! I chose the popular croissant. I really wanted to eat more... but I had a late lunch planned, so I held back... and held back... and held back... Plenty of vegetables, raw, boiled, grilled, etc.! There was dressing for the raw vegetables, ratatouille as a sauce, and some kind of egg salad...? I enjoyed it with poached eggs, with sausage, and many other things. A dish that can be served as a side dish or as a side dish for a meal. Pumpkin soup and a cup of water-drizzled tea? is also included! Be careful, the soup is surprisingly hot! The croissant I chose was crispy, savory, and buttery, leaving me wanting more! Chef Karato's specialty is to make you enjoy vegetables like this, isn't it? Most of the customers ordered this dish! The service staff is hard at work, but maybe a little tired? Busy times are tough! I heard that the pudding here was also introduced on TV and is very popular? I'd like to try it next time! I envy you Kitahama area, there are so many stylish cafes and nice stores! I think I'll make a small goal this year to wake up early and have enough time to eat a morning meal.
