Using Koshu grapes from the local Minaminoro area with a winery, this wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and is aged for about one year, featuring fine bubbles and a refreshing aroma of Japanese citrus. It pairs excellently with salads, appetizers, and carpaccio.
The aroma of Japanese citrus fruits such as kabosu, yuzu, and sudachi, along with a refreshing citrus scent reminiscent of grapefruit and lime, is richly felt. It pairs exceptionally well with green salad, carpaccio, and seafood.
Harvested from fully ripe Koshu grapes from our own vineyard in Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture, the natural yeast gives a translucent golden color with an orange hue, tropical impressions of banana, mango, pineapple, and apple, followed by the aroma of magnolia and orange blossoms.
Using Koshu from the foothills of Chayagatake at an altitude of 400 to 700 meters. The Koshu, nurtured in a region blessed with a cool climate and abundant sunlight, is refreshing yet conveys a dignified strength.
Clareze means 'as transparent as the white of Arga' and is a dry wine made using the unique Koshu grape from Japan, produced through the sur lie method, where the wine is stored in contact with the lees without racking until just before bottling.
