Chanko Nabe, a well-known hot pot dish eaten daily in sumo stables. In the world of sumo, chickens are considered auspicious because they stand on two legs and do not touch the ground with their hands, which is associated with losing in sumo where touching the ground with hands signifies defeat. The collaboration between the Japan Sumo Association, which has such cultural significance, and Tsukada Farm, which is dedicated to poultry farming, led to the creation of the Japan Sumo Association supervised 'Chanko Nabe'. Enjoy the crispy charcoal aroma and juicy texture of 'Miyazaki Jitokko,' which has grown freely surrounded by Miyazaki's nature for about two to three people. 'Miyazaki Jitokko,' a genuine local chicken nurtured in Miyazaki, is raised carefully over a long period in the cool air and spacious environment of Miyazaki. Although it is a local chicken, its meat is tender, and the overflowing meat juice when chewed with a bouncing elasticity is full of umami and deep flavor. It is a brand chicken that Miyazaki is proud of, raised with high production standards. 'Charcoal Aroma and Pillar of Fire': When chicken oil is dripped onto charcoal, a pillar of fire rises. This is not for grilling, but actually to impart the charcoal aroma to the local chicken. By mixing the pillar of fire with chicken oil on the chicken meat, it wraps the fragrant charcoal aroma around it.
