This new restaurant is by Chef Hirofumi Saito, the chef behind "Tokyo Chinese Ichirin" in Tsukiji and "Ichirin Hanare" in Kamakura. The restaurant is divided into a "casual dining area" where you can eat whatever you like a la carte and a "high-end restaurant area" where you can enjoy innovative course meals. The restaurant offers one-of-a-kind cuisine by chefs from diverse genres such as Chinese, Spanish, and French.

TexturA is a new restaurant created by Chef Saito, who operates the famous Chinese restaurants "Tokyo Chinese Rin" and "Ichirin Hanare". This is a new type of restaurant that is a collaboration of Chinese and Spanish cuisine.
Its location in Hibiya makes it easy to get to.
The restaurant is highly rated for both taste and service, and is listed in the top 500 restaurants in the "EAT LOG".
We visited the restaurant after 1:00 p.m. on a weekday. It was after peak hours, so we didn't have to wait in line to get in.
The interior of the restaurant has a dark, relaxed atmosphere, but the regular display of glasses and the lights create a "high-class" atmosphere.
The casual feel of the restaurant also remains strong and comfortable.
The lunch menu offers a choice of Chinese or Spanish food. I chose "Chinese" this time because I wanted something spicy.

Here are a few examples.
Chen Bean Curd
The spiciness of the bean-curd soup is moderate and easy to eat, as if it were made in the Cantonese style. However, there is an elegant spiciness that comes after the sansho (Chinese pepper), so you will start to sweat. It has an elegant taste.
Yodarechicken & Sansho Noodles
The trendy Yodarechicken is intertwined well with the sauce, and you can enjoy the "deliciously spicy" taste. By adding Sansho Noodles after finishing the chicken, you can enjoy the spiciness and flavor twice as much.
Paella
This paella was added as a service for those who had made a lot of paella.
The fish and seafood broth is rich and thick in the rice. I have never had such an authentic paella, and next time I come back, I would like to order it by itself.
The service was also very good as they responded immediately to our requests.
I was very satisfied with the service, atmosphere, taste, and quantity. I would like to visit again at night, although it is a little expensive.

10,000 yen is not expensive, but if you can eat for around 10,000 yen, it must be a cosy restaurant.
Taste, service, and space are all a grade higher.
And to be able to enjoy it for around 10,000 yen...
A fusion of Chinese and Spanish cuisine. It is a cuisine that has never been seen before.
The basic menu is the Ichirin series, but Spanish cuisine is added as the essence of the series.
Ichirin's slobbering chicken is still alive and well, and can be enjoyed three times this way and that. It's fun.
The only thing I wish there were more vegetable dishes. That's about it!
I'm sure this will keep changing and my expectations are very high. The location is good.
The atmosphere at the entrance is very exciting. They have lunch, so I'll go for lunch next time.
Chef Saito's restaurant. Looking at the menu, I was not sure whether to choose Spanish or Chinese, but I chose Spanish. Chinese food is available at the affiliated Tokyo Chinese Ichirin and Ichirin Hanare in Kamakura.

Soup
I took a sip, but it tasted so many different flavors that I have no idea how to describe the food. I thought it tasted like vegetables but had a strong scallop taste, and then I saw scallops at the bottom.
Bread
I guess it was homemade. It was a little hot when I picked it up.
The surface was crispy and the inside was moist and glutinous, too good to be true. The atmosphere of the restaurant made me ask, "Can I have another slice? I couldn't ask.
Main dish
I had never heard of koskela before, so I googled it before the dish arrived and found out that it is a Basque dish of sauteed fish in a shellfish-based soup (sorry if I'm wrong).
I was pleased to see that my preliminary study had been effective, and I enjoyed the shellfish flavor while eating the sea bream. Spring vegetables such as asparagus play a supporting role in adding color and texture to the main dish.
Glutinous Pork Fried Rice
The dish arrived wrapped in an unfamiliar yellow skin.
The pork was very tasty.
Yoredare Chicken and Sansho Noodles to dip in!
The chicken was very tender and easy to eat. The chicken was very tender and easy to eat. The sauce was spicy and the pak choi was very effective. The Sansho Noodles is a dish of noodles with a hint of sansho (Japanese pepper) flavor.
When the noodles are dipped in the Yoredare Chicken Sauce, the taste is indescribable.
I want to eat this dish as much as I can.
The restaurant reigns as one of the top 500 restaurants on the food log, but on the day of our visit, we were able to make a reservation by phone on the morning of the day of our visit.
If I have a chance, I would like to revisit.

Since the restaurant is affiliated with Ichirin, I wanted to try the "White Bean Curd" and the "Iberian Pork Plancha" because it is a Spanish dish!
I was told that the Iberico pork would take about 30 minutes, but I had plenty of time, so I waited.
First, the white bean curd arrived!
It is rather red from the outside!
Apparently the bottom is white lol!
The bean curd here is mildly oily and I feel more comfortable thinking of it as a soup.
But it has an interesting taste!
And after a while, the Iberian pork arrived!
I can tell from its appearance that it is absolutely delicious!
I'm getting to the age where I can't eat fatty meat anymore, but even I was able to eat it all by myself.
It's a bit pricey at 4,000 yen per person for a Yurakucho lunch, but I think it's worth it at least once!
