We have sourced 'Nanatsuboshi' from Mr. Miyoshi, a farmer near Sapporo. It is a shiny rice perfect for ramen rice. According to Mr. Miyoshi's agricultural corporation, they produce water rice in a cycle of once every 5 years. The year after harvesting rice, they grow wheat, followed by soybeans, then beets, and finally potatoes, improving the soil while engaging in planned crop rotation to ship various crops with different harvest periods.
