Enjoy Nara's local sake and local chicken! I'm going to Naraya's next time. Wanna go? It's been almost a year since we went to Naraya... I remember it was delicious and it's been a while since I've been there! The place is located on the east side of Eiraku-cho street. Chicken Kappo Naraya Yakitori and kappo-style dishes using Nara's local sake and Nara's Yamato chicken are available! The restaurant has only counter seats in a U-shape. The slightly dimmed lighting creates a relaxed atmosphere. My friend had already started, so I joined him in the middle of the restaurant. Did they drink a lot? Your friend's face is getting red. First, let's have a toast with plum wine! I noticed later that we had a glass of champagne... I wanted to sizzle with bubbles! Chicken skin boiled and seasoned with soy sauce! It's full of collagen and has a deliciously smooth texture! The picture is out of focus... sorry! Chicken and seasonal vegetables cooked together Enjoy the beautiful bowl first! Then, enjoy opening the lid! Chicken meat (chicken breast and thigh), meatballs, fu, and vegetables It is covered with starchy soup stock. It looks like jarbe-ni (stewed vegetables)! The carrots are very tender and have been simmered for a long time. The soup stock is very thick and tasty! It makes me feel relieved. Yamato Chicken Sashimi! Sashimi! Sashimi! I love how moist and tender the chicken breast is! The thigh has elasticity and the skin is seared to give it a nice aroma +! I still like it raw! Mune Udan (sea urchin) Beautifully arranged! Sea urchin on the breast! The sea urchin is so rich! The ponzu jelly underneath melts in your mouth! It's amazing! It's so well calculated! Kaze no Mori Comparison Of all the sake, Kaze no Mori is the easiest to drink! So I'm happy when I find it at the store! Akitsuho Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki Junmai Ginjo Omachi Junmai Ginjo Mellow, crisp, and little by little, so you can enjoy the changes! It's perfect for me who can't drink much! Omachi was the best of the three! Japanese Duck Tataki Japanese duck raised in Gosho City, Nara Prefecture! This is the first time I've heard of it! When I tried it, I was surprised at its lack of peculiarity! But it's not so plain either! Many people prefer tataki to raw because of the added savory flavor. I like both, though. Five kinds of appetizers Everyone else seems to have eaten first, so I'm the only one here with appetizers! Chilled chawanmushi, tomato syrup, sweet potato in sweetened soy sauce! I love that there are vegetables as well as chicken! The arrangement is also beautiful, with ginkgo trees and such! I picked them up from Midosuji street (lol). Dashimaki Tamago (rolled egg) I had this last time and enjoyed it so much! It was very delicious again! The richness of the egg and the dashi broth are perfectly balanced! The texture is also perfect! Definitely ranks high in the list of dashimaki I've had! I highly recommend this dish! Omakase grilled skewers (3 kinds) The seseri skewers are peppered with a tangy kick! The Bonjiri has a crispy and juicy skin! My favorite type! What was the other one? I forgot... Sorry! Oyakodon It's a delicious oyakodon from a chicken restaurant! It's a perfect way to finish off the meal! As expected, we were all full, so we all shared! The eggs are soft and fluffy! If an amateur cooks it this way, it doesn't turn out fluffy! It's delicious, but the broth is just as good! The chicken and the egg are both delicious, but the broth is the best for me! I was able to enjoy it without hesitation! Homemade pudding The top is seared to a crisp! I love the moment when it cracks open! The consistency is right in the middle of smooth and hard! It's so rustic, I love it! It's been a while since I've been here, but the menu has changed a bit. The menu has changed a bit, and you can feel the attention to detail. And every single dish is beautiful! I'm glad that I can't enjoy these things at home! Some of them look quite expensive... I was also happy to see that they remembered me from the last time I visited. I was so happy! I was so ungrateful to come here after a year... Enjoy Nara's Local Sake and Chicken Monthly visit to a financier This month, we will be at Chicken Kappo Narayasa! I uploaded a post about yakitori on Instagram and received a comment from here! The picture of the restaurant looked so delicious that I invited my friend to go there! The restaurant is located on Eiraku Street, on the first floor of the east wing of the Shin Nihon Shinchi Building. Inside the restaurant, there is only a U-shaped counter, so it is easy to talk with the waitresses. There is a grilling area in the center, which must be very realistic in front of the grilling area. This one uses Yamato Chicken Of course, you can grill it, but you can also eat it in a kappo-style! And you can enjoy various kinds of Nara's sake, Kaze no Mori! I ordered the Kaze no Mori Yamadanishiki Junmai Ginjo! It's refreshing and clear, and it's nice that they serve a lot of it! For now, I ordered the Yamato course for 4,000 yen! Yamato course 4,000 yen Appetizer: Yamato Chicken with a lump on the skin! Since the skin is used, you can feel the collagen-like fat! The skin has a plump texture and the soup stock is jelly-like. The bowl is also very beautiful! Appetizer Yamato Chicken with Sake Steal Kolinksy, Fig Dengaku I was surprised to know that figs and dengaku miso go well together! I didn't know that sakataki can be made with chicken as well as fish! This is an interesting and fun appetizer! Chicken Sushi Wow! I'm so excited! Left is the chicken breast, right is the thigh! The thigh has some fat left in it so you can enjoy both the meat and the meat! The breast is served with celery and wasabi accented with sweet vinegar! Additional Dashimaki Tamago A beautiful orange-colored dashimaki tamago. Fluffy and filled with dashi broth! I could eat 4 slices all by myself! Jidori chicken yukke! When I asked for something visually appealing, they served me this! This is what they served us! The rich yolk, chicken and sauce were delicious! It was so tender, juicy and delicious! Chicken Manjuu Chicken dumplings are deep-fried with arare as a batter around the dumplings! Then, it is topped with a sauce that is also very soup stocky! It's so relaxing and soothing! The crunchy texture of the arare and the moist chicken dumpling It is said to be the restaurant's top recommendation, and it is certainly a must-try! All the dishes were delicious, and I'm glad I chose this one! My friend was satisfied with her meal, and I was relieved to have her accompany me!
