Go to the hottest sushi restaurant in town!
Have you heard of the University of Restaurants?
You can get sushi, wine sommelier, yakitori/chicken, pastry chef, and boulanger in a short time!
The sushi course says that you can become a professional sushi chef in 3 months!
The university there operates and graduates work at Senyo.
It's been selected as a Bib Gourmand, and it's a bit of a hot topic!
Located near JR Fukushima station.
It looks like a sushi restaurant, and it is...
When you enter the restaurant, you can smell the aroma of vinegar.
Counter seats on both the first and second floors.
The restaurant is flat with wooden counters.
You can see the owner's hands in full view, and this side has a live and enjoyable atmosphere.
The sushi table is decorated with a feather board, as it is the end of the New Year's holiday!
I love this kind of presentation!
There are two types of courses: 3,500 yen and 7,000 yen and up.
The 7,000 yen course is served on the second floor.
I will order the 3,500 yen course this time.
Cheers to plum wine!
My friend was served beer in a glass that looked like Mt.
Appetizer
Lily root tofu, tuna cheek charcuterie and flathead with tonburi sauce!
The liliy burbits of tofu were so soft and chewy that it was almost like sesame tofu!
The tuna cheek char siu pork was also very tasty and made me want to drink more!
Sashimi
Izumiotsu red clam meat, string, liver and kelp sea bream from Mie!
The red clam has a nice crispy texture!
The string is seared and fragrant, and the liver is rich!
The sea bream also has a pleasant texture and is moist!
Nigiri (hand-rolled sushi)
Senshu Hari Karasu
The squid is topped with black ink salt and has a wonderful aroma!
The squid is moist and tender with a delicious texture!
sashimi of swordfish on kelp
Kawahagi with liver
Everyone had horse mackerel, but I was too sick to eat blue fish!
Instead, we had leatherfish!
The combination of light meat and rich liver is the best!
Pickled Pacific bluefin tuna!
It's like eating meat!
The ginger is very effective!
Scallops
Thick scallops are lightly seared.
The surface is slightly cooked and the inside is raw.
You can enjoy the difference in texture.
Perfectly matched with sweet and spicy soy sauce!
Black Tiger
Quite large and very thick!
Half of it is egg oval and the other half is shrimp oval!
It's nice to be able to taste two different kinds!
I enjoy the change of the plump prawns and the different flavored oboro.
Anago (conger eel)
lightly roasted on a bamboo grass leaf? Lightly seared on a bamboo leaf and served in nigiri.
There was a slight aroma of the leaves, but it was a little too strong for my liking.
It was a little too much for my liking.
Untoni with three vinegared sea urchins
It came in a small bowl.
Sanbaizu is a little blurry and hard to see...
The sea urchin was so rich that it melted in your mouth!
Zoni
Since it's the end of the New Year, we had ozoni!
Mochi is roasted, so it is fragrant!
Our Zoni is a clear soup, so I'm glad to have a white miso version!
The yuzu aroma was subtle and very refreshing!
Tamago (egg)
Fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth type!
I think the price is more than enough to enjoy this dish!
The owner is a young man and his sincere attitude toward his customers is very pleasing.
I would have preferred a woman to make the sushi, but I was very satisfied with him!
I think the people who have been training as apprentices for a long time are also great!
I think this kind of style will become possible from now on.
I thoroughly enjoyed the sushi!

Restaurant Information
Appearance
A 3-minute walk from JR Fukushima. In a bustling area crowded with restaurants, "Senyo" is tucked away. The restaurant has an impressive exterior that is both noble like a high-class restaurant and easy to enter like a popular restaurant.
Interior view
Both the first and second floors have a counter, which is unusual. This time, I visited the first floor.
Omakase 4,000 yen course
Strawberry salad with tofu paste, geso with soy sauce and liver, grilled sakitobaki (grilled sardines). I was surprised to find such elaborate dishes in the ¥4,000 course. It really captured the heart of the sake drinker.
The octopus, the tuna, and the aburi toro (fatty tuna). It's good. So good.
Hari-ika
Nigiri start. Squid with squid ink and salt on top. I love the sticky texture.
Sea Robin Kombujime
The delicious taste that envelops your tongue is easily remembered even in the middle of writing this article.
Seared tuna
The rich red meat with a savory aroma makes it one of the best tuna dishes.
Vinegared horse mackerel
The tight texture made our teeth happy.
Amaebi konbujime
I guess it is not good to konbu-shime everything, but there is a theory that everything tastes better when konbu-shime is done.
Sea Urchin with Sanbaizu
Sanbai-zu is a mixture of equal parts vinegar, soy sauce, and mirin (sweet cooking rice wine). The sea urchin was very good. I thought it was a sweet because it was so tender and sweet.
Boiled Shrimp
If I had to choose an MVP, I would say this one. The combination of the texture of the shrimp and the rice that comes into your mouth without a moment's pause.
Boiled sea eel
It's as fluffy as ever," said a customer three seats away. said a customer sitting three seats next to us.
Eggs
A sponge cake-like egg to cleanse the palate.
Miso soup with fresh onion and greens.
That's all for the course. Here are the additions.
Shime saba (mackerel)
It's definitely a striped fish. Tasty.
Kinme
It is small but has a great presence in the mouth.
Drinks
Beer ¥500
Draft beer is Yebisu. The Fuji-shaped glass is a brand called "Sugahara" and is said to cost more than 4,000 yen. I want to be an adult who can ask "Is this really Sugahara? I want to be an adult who can ask "Is this Sugahara? I drank too much shochu, sake, and white wine. I am hungover. Thank you for the food.
Price
About ¥15,000 (for two people)
This is cheap, seriously. We drank alcohol like idiots, so the average budget is much lower. For example, I think the same level of sushi in Tokyo is ¥10,000 for just a course. That's hot.

🐷The first floor has 7 seats, 3 turns, 4000 yen course
🐷2F: 6 seats, 2 revolutions, 8,000 yen course
We took our time to enjoy the second floor 💓🍣.
The appetizers and sashimi are delicious, but the crab shabu and crab miso rice are the best 🦀💕!
I can't stop drinking sake🥺💓💓💓
The rice has just a hint of vinegar. The rice is small so I'm thankful for that 🧚🏻♀️
I'm a little disappointed that the price is so reasonable, but it limits the number of items you can add outside of the course 🥺.
But it was delicious! I'm sure it was delicious!
Visited one evening.
The bill was 4,000 yen for three kinds of appetizers, two kinds of sashimi, nine pieces of nigiri, and a tome-bowl.
The restaurant is economical, and the young craftsman consumes three cups of sake with great taste.
The gentile next to me looked satisfied.
