It must be fresh just by sourcing directly from the market, but with the discerning eye trained at the master's sushi shop, every sashimi had a deliciousness that truly showcased the flavor of the fish. My friend who loves sake kept saying how great this place is, which made me happy. The chawanmushi is also recommended.
This is a Hunan cuisine restaurant located along Kappabashi Street, with a spacious interior featuring high ceilings. The modern and calm atmosphere is pleasant, and the second floor has private rooms and terrace seating, which is convenient. The flavors of Hunan, characterized by the use of chili and garlic, are the main focus, with a balanced acidity and a rich taste that feels additive-free. The lunch includes three small dishes and soup, which is enjoyable, and the appetizers with the aroma of cilantro and the tangy pickles left a strong impression. The main dish, steamed abalone and pork belly from Hunan, had a wonderful aroma from fermented black beans and paired excellently with rice. To finish, I had a jasmine dessert, which helped me settle down after the spiciness.
I made a reservation for 1 PM, but the common eel was already sold out, so I think it's better to make a reservation for an earlier time. I had a different type of eel, but it was grilled to perfection and delicious. You can also order the amount of rice. The staff provided a thorough explanation and had a pleasant attitude.
