Freshness is top-notch, transported by air from Kagoshima every morning.
Available all year round locally. The crispy texture with the skin on is addictive! It goes well with sweet local soy sauce with garlic, especially when paired with sweet potato shochu.
In Kagoshima, it is called 'tsukeage'. It is a specialty of the landlady's family, Tenmonkan 'Daifukuya'. You cannot talk about Shimadzu-tei without eating this.
A representative dish of Satsuma, made by simmering black pork ribs in miso
The perfect snack to pair with sweet potato shochu! Thinly slice lightly grilled bitter melon and top it with freshly shaved bonito flakes to enhance the flavor.
A specialty of Makurazaki, a fishing port for bonito flakes. Our product is a soft type with a light salt seasoning. Perfect for accompanying sweet potato shochu.
Specially selected local chicken that we pride ourselves on. The deliciously grilled texture is the charm! Served with plenty of onions and yuzu pepper.
A popular menu since the opening of our store in 1971. Secret sauce on grilled eggplant... Give it a try.
You can enjoy the taste of the landlady's family's Tenmonkan 'Daifukuya' at home. You can also take away a smaller amount (2,100 yen) to suit your family.
