Shochu made only from carefully selected barley, barley koji, and pure water. This shochu, made with 100% barley for both ingredients and koji, is the first attempt in Japan. By using reduced pressure distillation, the unique characteristics of the shochu are subdued, allowing the sweetness of the barley to be fully extracted. Enjoy the rich aroma and flavor in various ways: on the rocks, with water, with hot water, or with soda.
Elegant and fragrant, with a hint of sweet grain aroma. The caramel-like flavor delicately spreads in the mouth, offering a pleasantly light taste. The sweetness of the grain is predominant, leaving a consistently gentle and toasty aftertaste. When diluted with hot water, the sweetness deepens, creating richness, and the pairing with the toastiness becomes even better.

The shochu first released in 1916 by the founder of Kirishima Distillery, Yoshisuke Enatsu, is made with black koji. The authentic sweet potato shochu 'Kurokirishima', which inherits the roots of the black koji production from the founding era, is characterized by its rich sweetness and crisp finish. It enhances delicious dishes across various genres, including Japanese, Western, Chinese, and ethnic cuisines.
Made from sweet potatoes produced in Kagoshima Prefecture and brewed with white koji, it features the sweet and soft aroma unique to sweet potato shochu, along with a relatively light and mellow flavor. Although 'Miyake' is produced for the general public in 'Yakushima', its finish is exceptional, conveying the importance of creating in a 'natural state' within a blessed environment and the resulting simple deliciousness. Due to its limited annual production, it has become a precious shochu. Please be sure to try it at least once.
A delicate yet rich flavor. Through a special filtration method, a rich taste is hidden within its delicacy. Using the spring water from the sacred peak 'Kangaku' for dilution, it offers a gentle and mellow taste.
Authentic sweet potato shochu made with the unique technique of Denzoin, using 'Kojuku Imo'. It has a surprisingly expansive floral aroma reminiscent of lychee. The sweet and mellow flavor, along with a crisp aftertaste, are its characteristics. It is designed to be enjoyed as a food pairing drink while savoring its floral aroma. Especially when mixed with strong carbonated water, you can enjoy an even more vibrant aroma.
