You are welcomed with a surprisingly homely atmosphere that makes you forget you are deep in the mountains. The chewy fresh pasta, cream croquettes, and roast chicken are all incredibly delicious. The dishes featuring clams and salmon allow you to fully appreciate the flavors of the ingredients, bringing a smile to your face. The desserts and donuts have a light sweetness that makes them easy to enjoy even after a meal. The view of Kyoto from the mountaintop, combined with the sight of large dogs running freely, makes you feel as if you are in a different world. There is also a market with local vegetables and eggs, keeping the joyful feeling alive all the way home.
