This was my first visit and I was very impressed with the flavors of the food. I was especially impressed with the lotus root, Japanese mullet, hamo (Japanese conger eel), water shield and udo (Japanese udo) served with champagne. The desserts and Japanese sweets were also wonderful. The atmosphere and service were excellent, and I am sure it will become more and more difficult to make reservations, but it is a very nice restaurant.
