Ito Ryoko, Roppongi's gourmet queen, recommends Isagoya. I visited Isagoya for Hoshi Karei (star flounder), not long after my last visit. The three of us fought for Hoshi Karei, which is rarely available in the market, and we were so happy to have it at a restaurant other than a high-class sushi restaurant. And then there was this horse sashimi. It was my favorite among the ones I have had so far, and I was very impressed with its light and lean meat. This is a restaurant that makes the best use of high quality ingredients, where beautiful women in kimonos and experienced women provide smooth service, and where gentlemen who have been coming to Roppongi for a long time and are accustomed to playing around gather. We ordered our favorite ingredients and as much sake as we wanted, and the bill was less than ³,000 per person, which we expected to be very expensive. It makes me want to go there more and more. I recommend this restaurant for a casual dinner with gourmets in Roppongi.

I found a wonderful kappo restaurant. Isagoya" has been in business for 40 years and is located in front of Roppongi 3-chome Park. Fresh seafood, courteous service, and a variety of delicious seasonal dishes. If you like Shimoda in Ginza, you will be pleased with this restaurant, which is also about the same price. I recommend it for a quiet drink for adults, and I can't wait to go back again.
