I have been going to "Matsukan" sushi restaurant for about 20 years. It is a brightly lit restaurant with four chefs standing at the counter, and is always full of people. The seasonal food and tunas are at the level of a first-class restaurant. The rice is served in a soft and fluffy black vinegar sauce that I prefer. The way the chefs prepare the fish is beautifully done, making the best use of the ingredients. The best dishes this time are the nigiri of striped horse mackerel and spring shrimp, tuna zuke, and mackerel. The taste leaves a lingering aftertaste. There is also a wide selection of grilled and simmered dishes and delicacies. The ume steamed egg custard is a must-try dish. The milt grilled to a crisp on one side has an aroma and sweetness that makes you want to have another serving. It is an exquisite dish. The conversation that keeps the customers happy and the delicious food suggestions one after another make for an enjoyable and satisfying dining experience. It would be an excellent restaurant if you could sit comfortably because of the narrow space between the popular counter and the next table, but it's a fun and cosy place. It is also recommended for one person.

Matsukan is a casually priced sushi restaurant that offers quality ingredients, delicious rice, and nigiri with a knife. This is the place to go for light and delicious sushi for lunch on holidays in Juban, and it is a high-cost sushi restaurant that is always full of people from the neighborhood. It is a pity that it is so popular that the seats are always crowded, but the price is about ￥8,000 for a meal and drinks, so it is understandable. If it were not for the seating problem, this would definitely be an excellent restaurant.

Very disappointing of the food being served; basic sushi had been served and totally behind the expectation of "omakase" and not worth for monies. Also, full pre-payment has been charged BEFORE MEAL and FULL PAYMENT is required to be settled at the restaurant and WAIT FOR THE REFUND after.

Azabujuban, Tokyo Sushi that has a somewhat Showa-era feel and is loved by the locals. The chef is a very nice person and the conversation is very lively. The omakase course is a type of course in which you specify the price. The snacks are delicious. The bonito is in season and very tasty. Nigiri I had another amaebi. The abalone was subtle. Rolls Soup Sake My favorites as snacks for sake increased, and the sake went down endlessly.
