Ura-chan" is a standing drinking establishment with a good clientele that does not accept first-time visitors. After visiting clients in Kasumigaseki, my boss and I almost always stop by. The restaurant is run by the taciturn owner, who trained for a long time at a Japanese restaurant in a hotel, and his two lovely mothers. The owner, who started her own restaurant with a desire to serve good food at a reasonable price, serves really delicious food. The green onion omelette is so fluffy that when you put your chopsticks in it, the juice drips out. And the vinegared mackerel and the three stewed dishes are must-haves. If you order the aji sashimi, you will be served a bone cracker afterwards, which is a nice service. Urakasumi and Hakkaisan are only 400 yen, and Ottersai is a steal at 600 yen. The variety of sake and dishes are so cheap that it is dangerous to overindulge. This time, the three of us drank more than two bottles of sake, and the bill was ¥5,000 per person. It is a divine restaurant.
