The counter-centered, old-fashioned atmosphere is calming. The chef manages everything by himself, so there is a bit of a wait, but the careful work is evident. The sushi has a firm rice that provides a satisfying bite. The egg is fluffy and warm, and the tuna is flavorful and satisfying. The texture of the octopus, the sticky white fish, and the sesame-scented cucumber rolls are also impressive. Even the seaweed miso soup with sweet shrimp heads was delicious.
