Hyosetsu no Mon

Enjoy a variety of crab dishes such as the "Taraba Ice and Snow Memories Course" using seasonal seafood and the luxurious "Special Live Hairy Crab Whole Crab Course. A la carte dishes include the exquisite crab cream croquettes, crab shumai, fried crab shells, and other hot dishes that use shabu-shabu broth and other ingredients as a secret ingredient. Lunch courses are also available, allowing you to fully enjoy Hokkaido ingredients.

The stately restaurant also has a private room with a stage. Looking over from the entrance, the room is perfectly divided by shoji screens and has sunken kotatsu and tatami room seating. There is also a large hall that can be used for a wide range of purposes. Projectors and other equipment are available for rent, and the restaurant can be used for a wide range of occasions, including celebrations and memorial services.

Founded by Kikuji Shindo in 1964. It started in the basement of a building in Susukino as the only restaurant in Japan specializing in king crab dishes. His king crab dishes, symbolic of Hokkaido, were well-received by tourists as well as Sapporo residents and attracted much attention.
