A triumvirate of carbohydrates. As a Hamakko, I have a policy of not eating Ihekei Ramen across the Tama River, but I was shattered by the powerful impact of the visuals (>_<). Ramen noodles in medium size + slices of chashu pork + Tanaka toppings + rice (750 yen + 50 yen + 100 yen + free) Press "Tanaka Topping" on the ticket machine for the bucket, and tell the waiter verbally for the rice! After being seated and reading the chekki and pop-ups on the wall, the ramen arrives. First, take a sip of the soup. It is an orthodox family-style soup with a rich flavor. Then, I dipped the bucket I had decided on beforehand into the soup and ate it. It tasted like ramen topped with cheese. Next, I added grated garlic on the table and ate it like garlic toast, and it was delicious! But the garlic smell bothered me so much that I used black pepper or grated ginger after the second bite. The third piece is a bucket OTR, which is my least favorite of the three ways to eat it. So I soaked it in soup like the first one and finished it. I don't think there is any need to force the bucket in as far as my impression of eating it. The ramen is usually delicious, so it would probably be better to add seaweed and eat it with rolling rice.
