A native of Tottori Prefecture, he became interested in the culinary world when he was a student. After training at "Japanese Cuisine Kagaman" in Osaka, he opened "Haramasa" at the age of 32. With his pre-independence experience as a background, he decided to pursue a career as a chef and has earned a reputation for his unique cooking style and creative cuisine. He also puts a lot of effort into training his staff, passing on not only his cooking skills but also his philosophy.
