Ms. Ougitani, the female owner, after working in restaurants in Tokyo, opened "Waremokou" in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture in May 2018. Originally from Kanagawa Prefecture, she has been familiar with cooking since childhood and returned feeling that nature-rich Iiyama was her second home. She continues to offer dishes that make use of local seasonal ingredients and strives daily to create a restaurant that delights customers. The shop name also expresses the idea of a "continuously changing form."
