In a spacious tea house with a relaxed atmosphere, I ordered a cup of hot peach tea and a pure white bavarois. The peach tea had a rich aroma and the contrast of vanilla and raw milk chocolate in the bavaro was delicious. We visited at lunchtime on a weekday and spent a relaxing time looking out over the Motomachi shopping street. As souvenirs, we also bought soy sauce and black bean crackers from Hanamiya in Motomachi, Kobe, and Hana-arare (flower-shaped rice crackers) from Ebisen. I am looking forward to the next visit.
