It is the night of the fifth day of the Kansai expedition. Here, we met up with Grandpa Hata and went to bbq in Kobe. I thought it was one of the restaurants that I thought I was right in Kansai expedition. ☺️ It is also Manpai's favorite restaurant! ⭐️ taste 8 It was quite a hit.　I'm not sure if I'd like to go back to this place again, but I would. I was shown a video of the wood burning and the reddish wood, what's the name of it, lol, and he said it was very key to the wood burning. They use 2 tons of wood a month😳 ⭐️ service9 It was pretty good the first time too. bb9 is a famous restaurant of modern Spanish cuisine in Kobe. It was a variety of new dishes with a focus on fire-roasting in modern Spanish, which has been attracting attention in the Basque region. The flavors were on the edge of perfection, and although I think some diners may have had a little trouble with the heat, the dishes were truly exquisite. There were a few gaps in terms of seasonality, but even these seemed to have been chosen because of the skill of the chef.

[Bb9] This is my first visit to Bb9, a restaurant I have wanted to try for a long time. As Mr. Nishikawa said himself, the dishes are more like Japanese or French than Spanish cuisine. The wood-fired grill is a popular technique in Spain. One dish that was served as a business card was bread topped with handmade unsalted buffalo butter that had been smoked and perfumed, sprinkled with coarse salt, and shaved with Perigord truffles. An aroma and marriage unlike any I had experienced. From there, the dishes came out one after another at a brisk pace. We were surprised to see so much seafood. Perhaps it was because of this, but we strongly felt the impact of the bamboo shoots from the morning digging in Gamo, Kagoshima. The savory aroma like corn whetted our appetite. Still, I was surprised that natural loach trout could be found at this time of the year! Not in June or something! The time passed quickly as we listened to Mr. Nishikawa's fast-paced and fluent explanation, and furthermore, enjoyed the wine of his birth year again. I wonder if it was right that I enjoyed Chateau d'Yquem... It was the Kansai tour this time that seemed to have awakened my appreciation of wine. If I have a chance, I will visit there again.
